SUMMARY:Agribusiness workshops for Emerging Industries
DESCRIPTION:These free 2 x 4 hour online workshops will introduce participants to using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) process for planning. The workshops will provide an overview of business planning and include blocks of supported individual learning so participants leave at the end of the day with a useable plan for a priority aspect of their business. \nThe workshops will be delivered by RM Consulting Group (RMCG) expert trainers in agribusiness. Your trainer will make contact with you individually\, prior to the workshop\, to explain the BMC process and identify individual learning priorities for the workshop day. \nThe BMC allows users to separate out and consider three main aspects of planning for their business: \n\nMarketplace – who are your customers\, how do you make and maintain connection with them\, what is unique and valuable about your product?\nProduction – what are the risks and opportunities of your production system and supply chain? Who are the key people\, what are your key resources and what tasks and activities keep your business going? How can you improve production practices?\nMoney – breakdown your cost structure and consider where costs might be reigned in. Examine revenue streams and think through the amount of cost/effort versus revenue for various products and customer segments.
