Lead regional development in the NT – Applications now open

Regional Development Australia Northern Territory (RDA NT) is entering an exciting new phase, with the release of our 2026–29 Strategy and a renewed focus on delivering stronger regional economic outcomes across the Territory.

We are now seeking a Regional Development Manager to join our team in a newly created senior role.

This position will play a key role in shaping and delivering regional development outcomes across the Northern Territory. Working closely with stakeholders across government, industry, First Nations organisations and community, the successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives aligned with our new organisational direction.

About the role
As Regional Development Manager, you will:

• Lead NT-wide regional development initiatives aligned with the 2026–29 Strategy
• Strengthen partnerships across government, industry, First Nations organisations and community stakeholders
• Provide evidence-based advice to inform decision-making
• Support engagement across the Northern Territory, with a strong focus on Central Australia

   

Based in Darwin, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful, place-based outcomes and support the long-term growth and prosperity of Territory communities.
