Chris Young
Treasurer / Public Officer
Chris is now retired, he most recently served as Project Accounting Manager with Northline Freight, a role he began in 2014. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive of the NT Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout his career, Chris focused on business systems, financial management, and corporate governance, holding various roles including Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and is a CPA. He is also a current member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
In addition to his professional roles, Chris has contributed to several Territory and Federal Government bodies, including the Defence Reserve Support Council, the Festival of Darwin Committee, the NT Cricket Association, and the Darwin Military Museum Board.
