RDANT Grants

RDA NT Grants

RDA NT plays an active role in growing a strong and confident regional economy by capitalising on economic opportunities and attracting investment.

Regional Investment Readiness and Impact Fund (RIRIF)

The Regional Investment Readiness and Impact Fund (RIRIF) provides funding to help regional Northern Territory projects progress from advanced planning to an investment-ready stage. The program supports organisations to complete the critical “last mile” activities required to secure major funding from government, philanthropic and private investors.

What do you get?

Funding of between $25,000 and $75,000 (GST exclusive). A total funding pool of $200,000 is available for this one-off program.

Who is this for?

  • Not-for-profit and for-purpose organisations
  • Local government organisations
  • Aboriginal organisations
  • Regional consortiums and partnerships

Applicants must:

  • Have a presence in the Northern Territory
  • Deliver projects located within the Northern Territory
  • Demonstrate strong community benefit and partnership

Projects must primarily benefit regional and remote communities, with priority given to:

  • Central Australia
  • Barkly
  • Katherine
  • East Arnhem
  • West Arnhem
  • Remote and very remote communities

About the program

RIRIF is a targeted, time-limited grant program designed to support the final stages of project planning that enable regional projects to secure larger investment. The program focuses on investment readiness, not project delivery. It fills a recognised gap in the Northern Territory funding landscape by supporting projects that are beyond feasibility but not yet ready to attract major funding. Projects supported through RIRIF are expected to progress to external funding opportunities within a defined timeframe.
