Regional Development Australia seeking applications for RDA Chairs

Regional Development Australia is now accepting applications for RDA Chairs across Australia.

The RDA Committee Chair is required to lead a diverse organisation of individuals working in a complex environment to deliver high-value outcomes for their region.

As Chair, you will establish work programs that address regional development gaps by collaborating with stakeholders across sectors and diverse communities, including strong engagement with First Nations people, and support the delivery of key Australian Government strategic priorities.

With deep knowledge of Northern Territory’s local economic, social, cultural, and environmental opportunities and challenges, you will be well-connected and a passionate advocate for your region. The role requires uniting communities to drive economic growth, while acting with integrity, transparency, respect, and accountability, and championing gender-equality opportunities.

The RDA Chair will provide strategic direction and leadership to the RDA Committee and ensure robust corporate governance arrangements. Strong leadership, sound understanding of board or committee performance, and experience in people and organisational management processes are essential.
